Taking Lincoln Castle to a time that never was - the largest Steampunk festival in the world returns to Lincoln!
The Asylum Steampunk Festival is the largest and longest running Steampunk festival in the world, attracting participants from around the globe for a weekend full of art, literature, music, fashion and simple good fun!This will be the fifteenth year the event has run and we expect it to be a very special occasion indeed.
The festival is run by the Ministry of Steampunk and the Castle is delighted to host part of this much-loved event.
You can access the Castle grounds either by buying a Castle Day Ticket or by buying a Festival Wristband from the organisers. Day Tickets and Festival Wristbands give access to different areas inside and outside of the castle.
As well as access to the grounds, a Castle Day Ticket gives you access to the Castle's paid admission areas which are the Victorian Prison, the Magna Carta and the awe-inspiring Medieval Wall Walk, providing the perfect backdrops for showcasing your standout 2025 outfit. Castle Day Tickets do not give access to the marquees in the castle, the Heritage Centre, seating around the bandstand or the other venues that you can only access with a Festival Wristband.
Festival Wristbands give access to the castle grounds including the marquees in the castle and the seating area around the bandstand. They also give access to the Heritage Centre and several other local venues where you will find additional steampunk content throughout the festival. Festival wristbands do not give access to the Victorian Prison, Magna Carta or the Medieval Wall Walk.
